Ecuador is a source of mega-diversity, culture and attractions, drawing on this we have created a package that includes the more traditional and unique places in this country starting with the traditional places of Quito, and then enjoy the warmth, food and crafts of the culture Otavalo, and after leaving the mountains of Ecuador to get into the dense Amazon jungle in Ecolodge Yacuma finally leave the continent to explore the diversity and unique beauty of the Galapagos Islands

Day 1: Quito.
|
Quito arrival. Transfer to the hotel of your choice.
|

Day 2: Quito
|
Visit to the old town of Quito with its interesting churches of San Francisco then drive up to El Panecillo hill from where we will enjoy a nice view of Quito. After lunch, visit the Equator and the Ethnographic museum. Hotel. (B).

Day 3: Quito-Otavalo-Quito
|
In the morning drive towards the town of Otavalo. Visit the market, Cotacachi Village, Cuicocha lake and San Antonio de Ibarra. Hotel in Quito. (B).

Day 4: Jungle-Yacuma Lodge
|
Drive east to the town of Tena. This drive is full of wonderful views of the eastern part of the "Cordillera de los Andes". Finally we will arrive at our lodge located on the shores of the Napo River, one of the biggest tributaries of the great Amazon River. (B,D)

Day 5: Yacuma Lodge
|
We will spend this day admiring the marvelous vegetation of this area in the company of an experienced Indian jungle guide. Enjoy a canoe ride on the Napo River. (B,L,D).

Day 6: Yacuma-Quito
|
After breakfast we`ll begin our return journey along the Napo River to Santa Rosa. From here transport will be provided back to Tena and from Tena to Quito. Hotel. (B).

Day 7: Quito-Galapagos.
|
Transfer to the airport and flight to Galapagos. Starts a 5-day cruise in one of our boats. Itinerary will depend of the chosen boat. (B,L,D).
